KAtCH exists to serve the Adult Korean Adoptee community in Chicagoland.
We were founded by and are run solely by volunteer Adult Korean Adoptees, including our Board of Directors. We have many supporters within the Chicagoland Adult Korean Adoptee community, and also outside of our group. We would not be able to exist as we do without the generosity of time and resources from our various supporters. If you would like to support the continued work of KAtCH in the Adult Korean Adoptee community, please consider donating or volunteering for our group!
KAtCH is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit in the State of Illinois, and we have almost completed our registration on the Federal level. Until we are registered on the Federal level, we cannot guarantee that your donation will be tax-deductible in any way. Please seek the advice of a tax professional for further details.
All funds received are judiciously used solely for the administration of our organization. Funding needs include paying for our website, our non-profit registration, fiscal management, marketing, and office supplies. Additional funding for travel is also appreciated, as we put in many miles in our cars, on the subway, and even on planes as we travel to speak and participate in workshops and conferences across the world. We appreciate any monetary or in-kind gift that you share!
