KRCC offers a Korean Language class, taught by a native Korean speaker, specifically only for Korean Adoptees. The next scheduled class starts May 11, 2010, Tuesdays, at 7pm-9pm. College of DuPage offers two levels of beginner Korean, and two levels of Intermediate Korean. More Info

Scholarships
Global Oversease Adoptees Link (G.O.A.’L.) Scholarships – Study Korean in Korea. GOA’L offers a variety of scholarships to different language programs in Korea. Applications are accepted year-round, depending on what semester you are applying to. These scholarships are specifically for Korean Adoptees. More info at the GOA’L website
InKAS Language Scholarship – Study Korean in Seoul, Korea. In association with a grant from the Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family Affairs, InKAS (International Korean Adoptee Services) scholarship grantees can study at any of these language Institutes: Ewha Woman’s, Korea, Kyunghee, Seoul National, Sogang, Sookmyung and Yonsei University. Any overseas Korean adoptee over the age of 18 can invest a semester or more of studying Korean is qualified for the scholarships. Application opens February 1, 2010 and is admitted on a rolling basis. More info at the InKAS website.
